Yard waste removal

Storm limbs across the lawn, a fence that finally gave up, a brush pile that grew all spring: the crew loads it from where it lies and leaves the yard raked.

What we take

  • Branches, limbs and brush
  • Old fence panels and posts
  • Sod, soil and mulch in bags or small piles
  • Pavers and small amounts of concrete
  • Sheds and playsets, taken apart on site
  • Storm debris

What we cannot take

  • Whole tree trunks over 12 inches across, unless cut to 4-foot lengths
  • Large volumes of dirt, rock or concrete: a dumpster is cheaper for those

How yard waste removal is priced

Yard waste is priced by truck space like everything else. Brush is bulky but light; the crew compacts it, so a big pile is often less truck than it looks. Heavy loads such as soil, pavers or concrete are priced by weight, and for more than a pickup-truck load of those a dumpster usually costs less.

LoadRoughlyPrice
Single itemOne sofa, one fridge or one mattress$99–$149
1/8 truckAbout a pickup-truck bed: a few pieces of furniture$179–$249
1/4 truckA small room, or a spare bedroom's furniture$299–$379
1/2 truckA one-car garage, or a small move-out$449–$529
3/4 truckA full basement or a two-car garage$549–$649
Full truckA whole-house cleanout or estate clear-out$649–$799

Prices are set by each local GoneDay location. The crew looks at the load and confirms the price before they start. Read the full pricing guide.

Before we arrive

  • Pile it near the driveway or gate if you can; otherwise the crew loads from where it is.
  • Cut limbs to lengths two people can carry.
  • Point out sprinkler heads and anything in the grass the crew should not step on.

Where it goes

Clean brush goes to a green waste or mulch site where your area has one. Treated fence wood and mixed debris go to the transfer station.

Good to know in Texas

Most Texas cities collect brush on a schedule, often every few weeks, with limits on pile size and length. After a storm the schedule slips and piles sit for weeks. A GoneDay pickup clears the curb in a single visit and takes the fence panels the city will not.

Yard waste removal questions

Do you take tree branches and brush?

Yes. Branches, limbs, brush and hedge trimmings. Cut anything long to lengths two people can carry.

Can you remove an old fence?

Yes. The crew pulls panels and posts and hauls them. Posts set in concrete take longer; mention them when booking.

Do you haul dirt, rock or concrete?

In small amounts, priced by weight. For more than a pickup-truck load, a 10 yard dumpster for heavy material is usually cheaper. Ask and the crew will say which.

Can you take a shed or a playset?

Yes. The crew takes it apart on site and hauls it. Metal sheds and wooden playsets are both fine.

How fast can you come after a storm?

You pick a day and an arrival window when you book, and your local crew confirms it. After big storms windows fill quickly, so book early.
